Day 1
Sultanahmet & the Old City
We start the morning at Hagia Sophia, one of humanity's greatest architectural wonders. Next we visit the Blue Mosque with its six minarets and exquisite Iznik tiles. After lunch we descend into the mystical 6th-century Basilica Cistern. The day ends with dinner in Sultanahmet with Bosphorus views.
Day 2
Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazaar & Bosphorus Cruise
Day two begins at Topkapi Palace — treasury, harem and hundreds of Ottoman artefacts. Then the Grand Bazaar: 4,000 shops, spices, ceramics, carpets and a real Turkish tea ceremony. Lunch at the Spice Bazaar. An evening Bosphorus cruise as the sun sets over two continents.

Do I need a visa?
Ukrainian citizens require a visa to enter Turkey. You can apply online via the official e-Visa system at least 72 hours before departure. Cost is approximately $50 USD.
What currency is used in Turkey?
The official currency is the Turkish Lira (TRY). Cards are accepted at most tourist sites and markets, but cash is useful for small purchases.
Is Istanbul safe?
Istanbul is one of the world's most visited cities. Tourist areas (Sultanahmet, Beyoglu) are well-patrolled. Standard precautions apply as in any major city.
What should I bring?
Comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, a scarf or headscarf for mosque visits (women must cover head and shoulders). A small amount of Turkish Lira cash.
